This aluminum recessed locking design comes with a cast aluminum access door and a large (10" wide x 2 1/2" high) brass incoming slot with the word "MAIL" imprinted in it. This mailbox is designed to be fully recessed into a column, wall or pilaster. We suggest when installing into a column outdoors, that there is an awning to protect against some of the weather elements. Retrieval door is 8 1/2" x 6 1/2". Frame is 11 1/4" w x 13 1/4" h x 15 3/4" d. Rough opening is 10 3/4" w x 12 1/2" h x 15 1/4" d.
